Our most popular queries & concerns;

Do you remove verrucae?

Yes. At Chiropody Feet First we offer the ultimate verruca treatment. New, state of the art treatment processes provide highly effective removal of verrucae. Using extreme freezing (cryotherapy) methods combined with caustic (acid) therapy have proved to be highly effective against the verrucae virus. We can also use laser therapy for the more stubborn cases.

I'm embarrassed about my feet

You needn’t be. In over 30 years of being a professional Podiatrist I can say I’ve seen everything. Rest assured you needn’t feel embarrassed, I offer a relaxing service and will put you completely at ease.

What are your opening times?

The clinic is open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 08:30 – 19:00.

Special treatments, such as nail surgery, can be performed on Saturdays.

How long will the appointment last?

Appointments are for a 30-minute duration. In my 30 years experience, I have found this to be the amount of time required to offer the care and treatment for the vast majority of podiatry treatments.

Biomechanical assessments and the fitting of prescription orthotics takes longer.

Can I make an appointment for my child?

Sorry, we do not take bookings for patients under 18.

Are you a qualified chiropodist and podiatrist?

I qualified as a Chiropodist / Podiatrist in 1991 from Huddersfield University and since then I have gained a broad base of practical work experience. Having worked in the NHS in London and Leeds and a private practice in Halifax, I am a highly experienced, HCPC registered, Chiropodist / Podiatrist.

What can you help with?

Here are just of the few of the areas I specialise in. If you’re unsure whether or not I can assist you, please send me a message.

  • Sports injury management
Do you undertake health plan / insurance treatment?

Yes, I am fully covered to undertake podiatry/chiropodist treatment under your health plan and health insurance policies.

Where is your clinic?

I am based within the Millionhairs Body Complex on Wrose Road in Bradford. With free off-street parking it is very accessible for those located in Bradford, Shipley & Leeds.

How does a fungal nail test work?

If fungal nail is suspected, we may recommend a fungal nail test. This is the most effective method of successful diagnosis. There is no obligation to undertake a fungal analysis, which is charged at an additional £50.

The test can be carried out within a routine appointment, including the results. If positive, we will recommend treatment options available to you, including fungal nail laser therapy, which is offered subject to further consultation.

Patient Feedback

I needed a Podiatry appointment desperately. I had neglected my feet and was getting married. My heels we cracked & painful. I had painful corns on my little toes and to top it all, in between my toes the skin itched and was cracked. I had 4 weeks. Deborah diagnosed a fungal skin infection (athletes foot), hard & dehydrated skin around my heels and ill fitting footwear was causing two painful corns on my little toes.

I had two appointments and Deborah cleared all the problems. The ‘magic’ heel cream and her ‘magic’ hands worked a miracle. Worth every penny to walk comfortably down the aisle and have care free & healthy feet on my honeymoon. I can’t praise Deborah enough. Thanks very very much.
